OUR MINISTRIES
AGCC is a multi-cultural ministry serving a variety of needs within the city of Tulsa. Our mission includes Reaching, Equipping and Empowering people.
Prayer
If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray
and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land (2 Chronicles 7:14).
AGCC has an active and strong prayer department under the direction of Asst. Pastor Ruth Scott. Our prayer teams meet weekly on Tuesday at noon, Wednesday at 6:30 pm, and Saturday at 8:00 am.
Abundantly Blessed Food Bank
Our food ministry serves the community by providing monthly distributions of groceries to those in need. Monthly distributions are available on the 2nd Tuesday of every month.
Discipleship Classes
Discipleship is a main focus of AGCC as we prepare the church to reach the end-time harvest. Classes are every Sunday at 9:30 am. Each quarter a new emphasis is highlighted to help the believer live a Christ-centered life. Class booklets and other helpful material are available for study and to add to one's home library for future reference. 2 Timothy 2:15 commands all Christians to "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth".
Youth
AGCC Youth Department (STEPZ) has a mission to raise up a new generation of young people who will make a lasting impact upon their generation with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Under the direction of Ministers Tarell and Kim Earl, our youth are presented with christian-based life skillls to prepare them for success. Min. Tarell Earl is a sought after public speaker at area high schools and recently spoke at a national Fatherhood Conference in Tulsa, OK. We encourage youths between the ages of 13 and 18 to come and be a part of our dynamic, life-changing youth experience where Jesus Christ is front and center!!
Children
Our children ministry includes nursery (0 to 1 year old), toddlers (1 to 3 year olds), Pre-k (4 to 6 year olds) and Children (6 to 12 year olds). Under the leadership of our Children's Director, Sandra Gibbs, our children are taught Bible stories and Christian principles at an early age. The children's ministry has had the same upper leadership for the last 18 years which speaks of the consistency and faithfulness of the children area.
